ok ive got lord of the rings battle for middle earth 2 on my xbox 360 and it says i need to be 13 or over to play live and yes my age that i put in to sign up for xbox live is lower than ten so how do i change it ive tryed just about everythingXBOX LIVE HELP a?u have to use the parents email log into that and set it up so that u can play that game u may also have to change ur current email to another that says ur of ageXBOX LIVE HELP a?you have to make a new account or find the password your mom put in for the child account hope this helps dude.

hey i got xbox live and said my age was 13. i had to sign in the rest of the way with my dads account and credit card. wen im done i tried to use msn and i couldnt, becasue im on a childs account. im like this is stupid, and 5 months later they come out with the change id thing, i make an account, say im 40, it chabnges and all this stuff happens. im like yay i can use msn, but i try to %26quot;u r on a child account%26quot;. my family settings are still there, and its the same family settings and stuff. i know the password for the family settings account, can anyone tell me how to remove them, caus i cant, even tho it says i was born in 1963.

How to change a xbox child profile to a adult profile(again)?
I changed the windows id in which i long in to xbox live .com with to a hot mail account which lists my age as 18 but i still have family setting with my account and i still need parental approval with some of my account options.So what do i need to do to actually to be able have a adult profile without getting the 'promote child account' button on mange account?

Well, I just turned 18, so I've had a child account for the past few years. For some reason, people who can buy the games (17 yrs old like myself) can't download any content for them. Besides that little %26quot;gem%26quot; of a restriction I was wondering if there was any way possible to be able to get content for games I already have. How do fix the XBox Live issue associated with playing EA's Battlefield: Bad Company 2 online?
I tried playing it, but the game said something about the restrictions on my account did not allow for playing. I tried searching everywhere with no avail for an answer. When I called EA they said that I had a %26quot;children%26quot; XBox Live account and Live could change the age associated with my account.
When I called Live, they checked 3 times and I checked on my Xbox with them on the phone and there was no Children's account. They then quoted the correct age on my account, and told me to call back EA.
So I did, and EA told me to screw around with the ports on my modem which STILL didn't fix it.
I bought the game for the online and it is a really cool game... anyone know a fix?tagged someone premade myspace

I read somewhere that you can change it by using another Windows ID that's over 18 or something like that then mess with the parental settings,i'm tempted to try that but not sure if it'll work.
My Windows ID is connected to my Zune account,which my friend had to be my %26quot;parent%26quot; in order to use it.i got his password and everything but nothing changed.

Ok so when I created my Xbox live account I put my real age, 16 but i didnt realize at the time that they would stop me from downloading M rated games. Saves are locked to each individual profile to keep people from swapping saves to cheat for achievements and such. So I'm running into a little trouble here. When I originally got my Xbox 360 in Christmas 2006, there were more people that lived with me. My sister's boyfriend was 26 and my mom was like 44 or something, the point is that we all used the Xbox. I used it a lot more, so when making my live account we decided to make the age 18, and use my name, since it was my account. Well now it's 2009, and I'm 17. I'm getting a job next year and I am gonna want to put my card info on there, but my age will be all messed up, and basically I just want my normal age to be on there and my correct info.
How do you think I could change this info? I would make a new account, but my gamerscore is 39,000, and I have a lot of purchased downloaded titles and limited edition content on my account. I spent lot of work put into RPGs and stuff, and I don't want to do it over again. Besides I just redeemed a year live card 2 months ago. So what can I do? I can't change manually but is there a good chance that Microsoft will understand what happened and change the age for me? Or has this happened to someone and have you been able to change it?

You'll still have access to your original family gamer tag and community gamerscore. My assumption is that you'd like to move out one day and possibly get another XBOX so you'll already have GS and assigned games ready to play at moms.
BTW, perhaps you'll get a kick A$$ customer service rep who (with your mom's permissing / credit card info / etc ... will allow you to transfer all full months of GOLD from the old tag to the new tag.

The reason this is unfortunate is that they MAKE you give a new credit card in order to do this.
