Im having trouble with my online PC games?

When I play Age Of Empires 3 online the lag is horrible, its like a slide show. It changes to a new picture like every 10 seconds. But when I play on Xbox Live have no problem with my connection or anything. I have all my graphics to low. But when i play single player on AOE3 I can turn the graphics up with no problem and play. And I have a decent internet provider. Whats the problem, and how can I fix it?Im having trouble with my online PC games?Some computers have crappy grapfic cards that could be it. I play Everquest for many years not and with my old pc that was the problem.
