Xbox live old friends?

I play xbox 360 and have had xbox live for 2 years. Back when Gears of War was big, I had a friend on it that was my age and we played together like everyday. I met him on call of duty 2 and then we played tons of games together. Him me and a guy named kyrgz played all the time. Now I want to try and find him and maybe play some games together again.
